PEOPLE AGAINST CARRYING KNIVES

REDUCING KNIFE CRIME THROUGH EDUCATION

Who We Are

The PACK Initiative (People Against Carrying Knives) is a passionate and dedicated non-profit organisation based in the North West. We are committed to reducing knife crime among teenagers and adolescents.

Founded on the belief that education and awareness are powerful tools for change, we focus on providing young people with the knowledge and support they need to make responsible decisions about carrying knives. By raising awareness of the dangers and consequences of knife crime, we aim to create a safer environment for everyone in our communities.

Through our ‘Hidden Scars Of Knife Crime’ initiative, social media campaigns and community outreach, we connect with teens and adolescents to engage them in conversations about the realities of knife crime.

What We Do

01.

— School
Outreach

We host our awareness initiatives at schools and colleges, educating students about the dangers, legal consequences, and emotional impact of carrying knives and bladed articles.

02.

— Social Media Outreach

We engage teenagers through social media platforms, sharing real-life knife crime news and updates to raise awareness and discourage knife carrying behaviour.

03.

— Government Advocacy

We campaign for stricter penalties for knife possession, collaborating with MPs and local representatives to increase public awareness and drive legislative change to reduce crime.

04.

— Community Awareness

We distribute informative flyers across major towns and cities, highlighting the effects of knife crime on individuals and communities. We target areas with high rates of knife related crime and violence.

05.

— Police
Collaboration

The PACK Initiative works closely with major police forces, supporting knife amnesties and initiatives to remove bladed weapons from our streets, reducing violence and increasing safety.

06.

— Victim
Support

We promote counselling services and support groups for knife crime victims and their families, advocating for improved victim support services and knife crime related resources.

Victim Stories

Jack 14 - London

It’s been months since that night, but I can still feel the cold blade against my skin, the sharp pain as it tore across my face. I can still hear their laughter as they ran off, leaving me bleeding and terrified in that dark alley. My life split into two that night, before and after..

Kerry 34 - Newcastle

I woke up in a hospital bed, wrapped in bandages like a broken doll. They told me I was lucky to be alive, but I didn’t feel lucky. I felt hollow, like something inside me had been stolen. My body had healed, but the scars, the ones you don’t see, will never fade..
